So who has a winter mod or project in mind? What do you plan to do to make it through the winter this year?

hopefully a paint job, but first mechanical things have to be taken care of first. new clutch, light weight flywheel. pull apart engine to clean and paint and re gasket and replace sensors. transmission needs rebuilt as 2nd and 4th are almost non existent.hope to do a few upgrades to the differential also. hope to fab up some lower control arms for the front and some custom stuff in the rear suspension to help it grip the road better.

I hope to befriend someone with a heated garage so I can detail this winter. Last year, I actually buffed out our fiberglass shower surround because I was looking for something to detail.:freak3:

I'm not normal. :rcain:

I will be installing my tune, as well as hopefully get a set of slotted rotors with nice pads all the way around, stainless brake lines to the front, and maybe a couple little other things.

I suppose I should get my snowblower out of storage so I could put it on and use it. That snow isn't going to remove itself...

Eleanor is getting new seats so there will be a pair of fresh 68 seats available, I used 68 because they are wider and had a back lock, I think a set of Corbeau's If I ever get a wild hair to restore anything I hope somebody shoots me!

Maybe we should pray to the sun gods for just enough sun to thaw the driveway.

Just remember the Trails don't officially open until December 1st....Big ticket awaits unless you are riding in your yard. Taught Snowmobile safety classes for 10+ years so I am somewhat familiar with the "rules":lol2::lol2::lol2:

High five!

I've been instructing for about 10 years and my wife is a certified snowmobile safety instructor also. We have our class coming up in a couple of weeks and I look forward to it every year.

It is a good way to support the sport.
