Paint Chrome Bumper?

Is this possible? Will the paint stick?

If so, who does it? The local guys at MAACO?

I think it would have to be sand blasted to remove the chrome plating. Maybe there is something that can be used to chemically etch or remove the chrome, too.

Paint on chrome doesn't seem to last too long.

correct it would have to be sanded down or blasted first, as the paint wont stick to such a smooth surface..
