found this on my contour site, might be fun, and a way to recruite new members.

http://www.contour.org/ceg-vb/showthread.php?64812-Intrest-Check-DB-Tuning-Dyno-Group-Buy

I called and spoke with Shane at DB Performance (Rogers, MN) about doing a group buy on Dyno pulls (not tuning). Price breakdown is as follows....

(3 Pulls on Dyno)

5+ Cars = $65 ($10 off)

10+ Cars = $55 ($20 off)

A deposit of $25 per car would be required to lock in. You can bring any car you want, it does not have to be a Contour. So if you have a friend or family member who drives something else and would be interested in dyno, feel free to invite them to attend.

In terms of a date, I purpose Friday July 22 the first day of Summer Nationals (July 22-24). Typically it seems the majority of us who attend SN do so only on Sat-Sun. Would be a fun event to kick off a SN weekend.

Let me know if your interested and if my purposed date does not work for you, please include your proposal for a date.

i replied and suggested july 16th, as i know most of us will be at ccsn all weekend including friday.
just reply here if your interested and i'll take your name down and put it on the contour site.

thx guys.

IS this a club event, or one you are setting up?
If you are intending for it to be a club event, why not work with our activities director to get it proposed, and on the calender...
This way, you are not trying to come up with $200+ to reserve the dyno.
:fruit:

its something someone on contour.org is trying to set up, i could talk with him and see if he wouldnt mind us setting it up... maybe i'll shoot john a message and see what he thinks. thx joe for the sugestion :D

Typically in the past we coordinate a Dyno Day for the club directly. However, joining up with another group might benefit in cost since not everyone is interested in Dynoing their car if they've done it in the past (HELLFYR being the exception of course ;)

Spring or Fall might be a better option too for Cooler Air

Tuning typically won't be done on a Dyno Day. Just pulls.

With the Concord Performance mobile dyno parked about half a mile from my house, I'd be sure to get a  if I went anywhere else. That's a good deal, if they do the exhaust probe, in addition to hp and tq.

A dyno day in the spring seems better.
