Do we know anything about autocross events this summer?

Are there any special licenses or certifications needed before entering any of the events?

If you are planning on running MAC events regularly, then you will need to attend their "driving school".
Search around mnautox.com for details.

If you are talking about Amery the Austin Healy club has 2 dates set this year on their calendar.

I'll probably try and run the COM (Corvettes of Minnesota) event again at DCTC if it doesn't conflict with any club events.

The other autocross we typically have fun at is at Car Craft.

And those that travel out to Sturgis (and pay for the BIG package this year) will likely be running AutoX out there too.

We have tried organizing a "legal" CLUB autox several times, and the logistics of it are an absolute nightmare.

Car Craft is out for me this year, because the West Concord car show is the same weekend. But, Amery and the ones at DCTC are definite possibilities. I think I could talk Donna into going, too.

Thanks, Rod.

I signed up for the Novice Autocross Drivers School class they have 60 entries for this class and only 33 have signed up so far........http://www.myautoevents.com/pls/mae/frmEventDetail.Show?psevent_id=11938
Also on myautoevents.com they have the dates of all the auto-x events in each state. I will be going to the auto-x at BIR this year, June 25th-26th MAP Proving Gounds event.
Alot of auto-x info on Minnesota Autosports Club website.... mnautox.com. Hope this helps.

From the link I provided, if you are registered, you can click on "Register Online Now" and it will take you to a screen where you can login. If you have not already registered, you can click on "Create an Account". This can save your information which can be useful for the next time your register for an event.
