May 1st car show at MSU Mankato!

Hey Guys!

At Minnesota State University, Mankato our SAE club is having a car show this spring.

The show is Sunday, May 1st from 1-5pm. We are having the car show to bring the community together and show what our Automotive Engineering Technology program is all about. A few of our student projects will be on display along with all the entries!

It only costs $10 to enter your vehicle, free to look, and there will be food, games, and live music!

Also, your business can donate to the car show for just $30! For $30 you would be purchasing a trophy with your business name on it and be able to present it to the car of your choice at the show.

I may be able to make it, but we'll see. My brother is a former member of that SAE club, and I'll tell him about it, too.

I remember when we used to see Tommy Kramer and other Vikings players "studying" at the Albatross after their practice. Well, that's what ALL good MSU students did there... studying.... :Haveabeer:

Umm we were at Car Craft together, otherwise he hasn't taken it to too many shows.

Darn it. To bad this wasn't a year earlier. Just saw the junkers class, and totally knew the guy that had Dr. Evers old RX7. Does he still talk about that thing?

I don't have any classes with Evers, I'm MET with a love for cars. Just wanted to keep it separated from work, but from what I've heard, year he does.

On a side note, even with the cold we still had a good showing of cars. Don't think anyone from here made it, but it was a lot of fun!

I attended the show..Pretty good turnout considering the winter temps..I didn't bring the Roush..I was to wimpy of the cold...There was a white Saleen than had a Mnfords sign in the window...My buddy took some pics..I'll see if I can link them..If it doesnt work I'll ask him later how to link them...
