ok, so they're cheesy and they shift 10 times to get up to 40, but hey we still love the cars!

I've read that Dodge put out some money for this movie.... in the same way that GM puts out money for the Transformer series. Im hoping this time it's going to be street racing more so than action movie. Action movies are dime a dozen. The first movie was legit.... there after it started to tank. :carmafia:

I definitely want to see this, plot and acting be damned, as long as there are cool cars I'm in!

Koenigsegg CCX (CLASSIC SPEED RACER)

Thats the coolest car by far in the entire movie.

I agree the Koenigsegg is a beutiful car. It's one of my favorites to drive on the PS3 in Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 2.

The Lexus LFA will be fun to see in the movie. I saw the review on Top Gear (UK) last night (Season 14 last episode). It is a pretty car but insanely expensive when you compare it to the competitors.

Anyone go see this? The wife and I really liked it. You have to go in knowing it is going to be unrealistic and will have a lot of corny lines. It had a ton of action and almost every character form the previous movies were in it. It had an Italian job type feel to it. I'll buy the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

Saw it last Friday. I think its the best of the series and I would see it again in the theater!

A fellow Blue Oval buddy told me not to waste my money on this, so I'll invest that money towards some gas for the Cobra.

hmmm im not so sure about that. But that got me thinking about other "goofs" in the movie. So I went back to IMDB.com to see (didn't see ^ listed at all).

There are a few examples (but here's a car goof):
The team steals four 2011 Dodge Chargers from a police lot, but when two of them are repainted and used to drag the stolen safe through the city, the Chargers are of a previous model year as identified by the tail lights.
