We are in a recession, gas is nearly 4.00 a gallon and the new 5.0 is the next big thing. All that considered Kelly Blue Book means nothing. Good luck with the sale. I looked at this car last time it was for sale. Everything is as advertised.

But that new 5.0 can't go to 700+ whp with just a Blower upgrade like this motor can? Thanks for the Bump!

Your car cannot get to 700whp with JUST a blower upgrade either... For the record.. :)

With this car the way it's setup with the included BAP, injectors, preditor you could go to 700 whp with JUST a Blower upgrade!

Or what else am I missing? Ok at that higher HP level, it might be a little weak on fuel delivery side, other that this should do it.

You know what I was saying is the stock 4v Forged Cobra motor is built to take 700 whp.

Sure you need the supporting mods, but any stock 5.0 motor isn't going to hold together for long at 700 whp!

That's the inherent beauty of the the forged Cobra motor and I guess that's my point?

Looks like they just upgraded to a dual BAP setup here to get 704 whp on a KB 2.8, God knows how they could keep the stock injectors though???

....why on earth would anyone want to replace the factory supercharger on an '03-'04 Cobra? The answer is actually quite simple, as the limiting factor in terms of power production is the supercharger itself. We know from experience that the remainder of the 4.6L Four-Valve motor will withstand a great deal more power, but there is only so much fl ow and power potential hidden inside the factory Roots-style blower.
To extract even more power from the Terminator combination, a blower swap is in order. Obviously, it's also possible to install turbos on the motor, but that's a subject for another story. By now, replacing the factory Roots-style blower on the Cobra has become commonplace, with upgrades from a variety of sources, including Kenne Bell, Whipple, and Eaton TVS. Given Cobra owners' insatiable thirst for power, the blower experts at Kenne Bell configured not only a more efficient twin-screw supercharger design, but one that offered significantly more displacement and therefore more power potential compared to the factory huffer. Where the original blower might be considered a 600hp supercharger, the 2.8L H-configuration twin-screw has already exceeded 1,100 hp on the right application. Think about those figures for a minute. This 2.8L H-series supercharger offers nearly twice the power potential of the stock blower. No wonder these blower upgrades are so popular among Cobra owners.

I'm just clarifying that JUST a blower upgrade (as compared to fuel additions and tunings and what not) won't give you that kind of HP. :)

We are in a recession, gas is nearly 4.00 a gallon and the new 5.0 is the next big thing. Because the type of person who specifically wants an almost 9 year old Cobra and can afford it is going to change their mind because it cost an extra $15 to fill the tank on their weekend/fun car?

Someone whose purchase is going to be dictated that much by gas prices likely isn't the type who'd buy a Cobra over a base model anyway. The reduced mileage from the Sable I traded in wasn't even a consideration when I bought mine; I'll pay for a little extra gas to have that type of performance! Even at $4-5/gal.

Nice car, nice price. I paid more than that for twice the miles and none of the mods 2 years ago.

Looks like very few of these 10th Anniversary verts were built.

Man! 03/04 Cobras are like a rare scotch whiskey.
Getting more valuable by the day!

I sure feel sorry for those people who shelled out the bucks for a SN197.
