A little disappointed but from what I hear it's mostly because it's an older mustang dyno.

Man I need a tune!

Now to put on my Borla catback and CFM 67mm TB!

I'd be curious what the SAE corrected #'s would be.. some dyno's are heartbreakers...

Indeed a dynojet would have given you more incouraging numbers, but you have a baseline and thats all that matters. The fun part is seeing what each mod will do to your curve after that.

Mustang dyno's are known to show lower #'s than dynojets.

However, all dyno's are different. Use them as a tuning tool - not a "here's how much power I have" bragging point. Many dyno's will read similar - but there's way too many variables to say that one is "the" correct one.

That dyno is way off, a stock untuned SVT will put down about 140 whp and 130 lb ft. That's what Chris' car did.

Mine with just basic bolt ons and tuning did 154 whp and 140 lb ft on a Dynojet.

Like everyone has said though, Mustang dynos read low for the most part anyways.

Yeah, it's a poor cared for mustang dyno at school that also barely gets used. The 124 is SAE corrected. Also, this is just a baseline for each mod. After I'm done I'll hop on a dynojet just to see what it makes.

Hmm... mine (2002 SVTF) with a broken long/short tube runner switch (found this afterwords), MSD Coil Pack / wires, fresh plugs, and a Short RAM, hypill tune only did 137 on the Hi Tech dyno.

The broken intake shouldn't affect peak power because when it breaks it defaults to the high speed runners.

I've got an intake, Screamin demon coil, FRPP 9mm wires, Motorcraft copper plugs and a REALLY well done tune from Mike at Unique tuning in South Carolina and my dyno was also done at Hi-tech.
