where is a good place to learn about these engines and read alot of info. looking into buildning one after i re gasket my 3.0. thx guys

I have the older edition, this one looks like it has info on the 3V heads and may even address the new TFS 2V heads.

Tack two more cylinders on the DOHC 3L you have there and it's pretty close so you already know a little bit if you know that motor. :)

im looking at building one from the block up and trying to learn what parts are interchangable. the end result im looking to get is something like an 03 cobra engine, sc and all that has a little more giddy up lol

Im not looking to build this over winter, rather it will take a while. but my project wont be ready for it for a couple years. so this is a learning thing that i know will take time

Save yourself ALOT of time, money and energy.

Buy a 5.0 Coyote motor and start from there.

IF you must go with the 4.6.... Get a crate motor from ford.

Not only will it have a warranty, but it will be far less painful and much more cost effective in the long run..

Take that long block, add a On3 Turbo kit and call it a day.
