A friend of mine has a "like new" Interstate twin axel trailer for sale. Purchased in January for $8000.00. Asking $6900. All the bells and whistles. Inside dimension (between wheel wells) 80-1/2". Overall length: 26' 10". V-Nose is 4' 10". Net length without V-Nose: 22' 10". Payload: 3200 lbs. Model # IAS10225TA2. I have the complete data sheet for this trailer if anyone is interested, and I can e-mail it. Send me a PM with your contact info and I''ll get you more info. Trailer is currently in storage near Ladysmith Wisconsin.

If the photos don't show up below, then it's because I'm "forum challanged" :hehehmn: I can e-mail the photos to anyone interested.

Hmmm... interesting.
Never realized these trailers were not "fit" for towing a modern mustang in.
Stock curb weight on my car is almost 3700#

I'm sure it would haul it no problem, but not being rated for such would be a legal issue if anything were to happen.

Combined with the trailer it would come in under the GVWR but well over the payload capacity.
That's what prompted my earlier question.

Maybe there is a way to get it upgraded? Springs? axles?
I suppose at that point, you might as well buy a new one though.
