Another year done

So its October and getting cold outside. I went to rock falls for my first time over this past weekend and had a lot of fun. I didn't race my car but just watching everybody run makes me want to race more next year. I put my car in storage for the year on Monday :'( that's ok I've got plenty of things to keep me busy till spring. Does anybody have their cars out or are they all put away. What are some winter activities you do to keep busy?

mines done, kinda out of tire. 4 new shoes in the spring! the track was the last whoo-rah this year.

my car will be out till i pick up my ranger, then it goes to the body shop.

Our 83 Mustang convertible is now in the workshop for climate controlled winter storage. My 05 Mustang GT is the winter beater.

We have a hay field to the west of our house at the edge of town, and I try to cross country ski there. At the edge of that field is a waterway that goes for miles, which makes it a great "trail" for skiing in the winter. I also do more woodworking in the winter, but I don't have any specific projects for Christmas this year. I sold my snowmobile, but the bug is biting me again, so who knows - that might be something I get back into this year. I also do a little ice fishing, but not much catching.

Oh, and almost forgot - looking forward to doing some night flying this winter. Watching the lights and cruising around in the super-clear super-smooth air of winter is one of the best reasons to get a pilot's license!

Going to Texas (hunting) in December. Otherwise it's typically Basketball (watching/playing pick-up games). Hoping for a milder winter compared to last year.

Converted my Cougar over to be a winter driver. I'll drive the jag until the snow flies.
