Mason,
Welcome. I too would like to see the truck. It's neat seeing other Ford Guys (besides mustangs) come into here.

highschool when i got it, only thing it came with was the wheels, added everything else

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/1234.jpg

from a few years ago, stainless gauges with blue needles, painted dash

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/untitled33.jpg

Flip out screen, reverse cam, painted dash, truck has a full system minus a sub, dont need booming bass =]

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/GEDC0549.jpg

older wheels in this picture, started to shave my badges for the 09 badges I have now

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/fans1.jpg

added electric fans from a countour :ford: and a autozone fan controller with relays to not burn the controller out

the way it sits now:

...fast forward a few years and stuff got serious...

bought a used block that was a blown up long block (3 rod bearings and a main) bored it .20 over and everything else that goes with it

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00097-20100613-1232.jpg

then bought a "swap kit" off a Lightning (99-00 to be exact) to bolt on top of the new engine

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00150-20100716-1815.jpghttp://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00149-20100716-1814.jpg

Bought Mahle piston rings with Mahnley (sp?) rods and pistons in a -11cc dish (9.5:1 compression )

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00032-20110310-1625.jpg

bolted it all together with ARP main & side cap bolts, high volume high flow FRPP oil pump, factory forged crank turned down a bit, and some paint and we have this! :

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00067-20110413-1745.jpg

oooooOOOOoooOOOOoo

all together:

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00176-20110711-2253.jpg

Pulled the engine and was ready to drop it in, kooks long tubes not pictured :

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00177-20110711-2253.jpg

while I had the motor out, added dual 255lph walbros in a lightning fuel hat, cleaned up the rails and undercoated EVERYTHING ( ~20 cans under the box and on the frame :lolhit: )

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00114-20110614-2013.jpg
http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00115-20110614-2250.jpg

going in!

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00185-20110716-2159.jpg

90% done!

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00188-20110717-1538.jpg

Finished up the intercooler piping, little bit of harness extension and it runs!

then got exhaust put on it

http://i281.photobucket.com/albums/kk206/thatonedude_36/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG00254-20110923-1651.jpg

and after 300ish harder than normal driving miles on the new motor, the transmission gave up the ghost at 175K :

how it sits as of a week ago:

thank you all for the comments, its been one hell of a project for me.

it still needs body work from mn winters eating it up and I would like to get the interior re-done, but that all can wait

Does MNfords ever have get togethers? id love to come show it off in person =]

we do LOTS of stuff throughout the year.
we have monthly meetings the 3rd saturday at our club sponsor Apple Valley Ford at 3pm, after the meeting this month, we are going bowling!!
we have burger nights, the next one is november 8th
not much left this year for car shows and dyno days or track events, but we do that pretty much all summer long.

for my current goals, stock heads/cams will flow fine, ported and bigger cams would be easier to make the power goals I have, but with stock heads/cams itll be easier to tune around, plus the money for the heads and cams i would like, can be spent on other things right now. Like my transmission =[
