Does anyone have any advice about where to have windows tinted? Is it better to go to Wisconsin to get a darker tint?

What's legal, and what's the best deal?

I'm thinking about giving that to my wife for Christmas for her truck. Last year, she got nerf bars and a tonneau cover.

MN = 50% TOTAL tint on a passenger car

Since most cars come slightly tinted already adding a 50% tint over it will net slightly less than 50% pass thru.

Typically being pulled over will be judged based on your rear window and how much the LEO can see through it.

As for going to sconny to get darker, they must abide by the laws of the state the vehicle is registered in I believe.

You can go dark as you want on the back window of her truck, side windows have to be at 50%. If you have a SUV or wagon only the front windows have to be at 50%, everything behind the driver's door can be darker.

Tint law:

Definitely recommend going to dark Dan. He tinted my mark 8 to 35 percent and got a ticket for 135 dollars so i removed it. I would recommend not going darker and 50% so you don't have to deal with the hassle of removing it or paying the ticket.

Dan is the man! We've had him tint several vehicles and we've had him do some custom decals too. He does great work!

I had my Jag tinted 50% total there. I was very happy with the service and price.

Probably should add for anyone reading this in the future. There is quite a bit of controversy about the sail panel windows on a Mustang.
Multiple people have been pulled over for those windows being tinted too dark eventhough the drivers and passengers windows were
legal. The reasoning being used is that because it is a 2 door car, those sail panel windows are an extension to the main drivers and
passenger windows. I'm not saying it is right or wrong, just be aware of the potential issue.
