We got my SVTC back together today. I'm so happy. :)
Only one issue... Clutch works fine, and everything sounds fantastic, but we cracked the radiator tank, and it needs to be patched before I can drive it.
Its just on the plastic on top next to the alignment post.
Anyone have any thoughts that might help?

Where'd you crack it? I may have a spare you can maybe borrow for the cruise...

The driverside alignment post. Around the bottom of the post about 3/4 of the way around. I was going to get some epoxy or JB weld Friday for it.

I seriously ahve a spare for the coolant tank. Do you mean the radiator itself or hte plastic tank?

You will need to replace it.
i did the same thing.
I patched it 2x a year for 3 years before just picking up a regular contour 5spd radiator.
The system holds pressure. Over time it will leak. Epoxy, fiberglass, high temp stuffs all fail.

The SVT radiator was 1" thick for a limited time. Then they went to the 1/2" thick one.

the 1/2" thick one cooled a 3L without issue.

Do you want to come over and finish putting mine back together?

It isn't possible to patch the plastic on a radiator end cap. It's under pressure so the patch will never hold. Make sure you get a SVT radiator and don't get a stock 2.5L instead. I know a lot of places sell the stock 2.5L radiator instead which is much smaller.
