Sort of. My Ranger was kind of sagging on one side. As you can plainly see, the 2nd photo doesn't really look like the 1st. So my DD is parked until I fix this. Can't wait to tear into it!

Eh... you can strong arm it and bend it back into place.

It wouldn't be "winter" without car projects of some sort.

I would do that but that shackle bracket was so rusted it broke. So now I get to replace it

Upon further inspection, 3 of the 4 brackets should be replaced. So I might as well replace the 4th one too. And since I'm replacing that many I've decided to remove the bed. That should give me plenty of room to work and not lie on my back. YAAAY!

Lying on the back isn't the hard part. Getting up is. :) Err.... wait...

Fortunately I already had to go through that process of replacing the leaf springs, and with a little help of that anti seize, it wasn't really a struggle at all.

I decided to clean up the frame to primer and slap some rust oleum on. Now it's just a matter of replacing the bushings and sleeves, and bolting up the new brackets, and it's on to replacing my frozen ebrake cable.

I'll throw up some pics later.

Uhhhh, No.
I spent maybe an hour tonight working on the leaf spring bushings. They fortunately didn't put up too much of a struggle. Now hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to tinker for another hour or so to start reassembly.

Thanks. I'll try as far as posting pics. My only problem is that I forget to actually stop working and shoot photos. LOL

Sounds familiar... I was going to completely document the blower swap when I went to the ported blower... took about 5 pictures then started in on it. A bit later I was done... and... uh... no pix.

I did a little work today on the Ranger. Finished replacing the parking brake cables, bolted up the front brackets, installed the rear shocks ( still had the originals 23x,xxx miles ), pulled the diff cover so I can change the fluid. Tomorrow I hopefully will be able to install the front leaf spring bushings to complete the suspension work, and finish changing the rear end fluid. Here's a couple pics.
