1999 Laser Red GT Convertible. 74220 miles on the car, approx 15-20k on the shortblock and trans. Less than 10k on the turbo kit.
Brief mod list:
Forged 284 ci shortblock, Patriot heads, Hitech cams, Victor Jr intake, Accufab plenum and throttle body, return fuel system with A1000 pump and 80lb injectors. Lightning MAF, Diablo MAFia. Currently tuned on E85 by Casey at APS. Made 559rwhp / 526rwtq at 16psi boost.
On3 turbo kit with Master Power T70 .68 a/r exhaust installed. Also have an extra MP T70 with a .96 a/r sitting here ready to swap out if buyer wants it.
TKO600 5-speed trans, Spec 2+ clutch
D&D tubular K-member, D&D coilovers in front, BBK springs in rear, Cobra front brakes
Saleen rep 17x9 and 17x10 wheels, newish Nitto 245/45-17 555s front and 315/35-17 555Rs rear
Just to avoid surprises or disappointments, there are a couple negatives:
The fuel gauge currently does not operate. The gauge itself works if you do a self-test in the dash, but its not getting a signal from the tank. I'm guessing it's the sending unit. I have just gotten used to using the trip odometer.
The braided fuel lines on the car emit some fuel odors. When I switched to E85 it almost went away. I have gotten used to this also.
The car always starts and runs well. However, when its cold outside, it will start and idle fine for a couple minutes, then the idle will surge and it will shut off. This usually happens a couple times after a cold start and then it always goes away, after this the car runs perfectly.
$13000 with everything I have for the car (or possibly an interesting trade).
