Need some info on a car please

I have a friend who is looking for some info on a 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR. He is mainly looking for where it was built, day,time, what number when it came off the line and any other stuff he can gather. The vin# is 8T02R225904. Please point me in the right direction or if anyone can help me with the info it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Got to the Shelby Registry. Pretty easy, they keep track of all that stuff.
