I've read and discussed on a national forum "mark-ups". It seems to be your region. There's a couple dealerships down south which Iam told aren't doing mark-ups. Im not sure yet locally. However I know there wasn't (locally) mark-ups on the Boss 302.

I recall the bass price on the 2007 was only like 41K and change.... 7 years and a recession later, and we are up to 55K?????? Granted the car is better, but I guess Ford figured there is a market for a $60K Mustang and is taking the money back from the tuner market. Not too dumb, I guess.

By the time you buy the car AND the upgrade, isn't the GT1000 about $200K? I thought I read that somewhere and I thought I also read there were between 30 and 40 preorders already.

For 200 stacks I'd be looking for something Italian... or would buy a Ford GT
