The Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management recently played host to a panel of engineers and scientists from automakers, suppliers and academia for "The Autonomous Vehicle - 2012," (http://www.nempa.org/events/2012/the-autonomous-vehicle-2012/) and Ford (http://autoblog.com/ford) brought Chris Hamilton, designer of the 2013 Ford Fusion (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/fusion/), to accept the New England Motor Press Gene Ritvo award for Design and Elegance (http://corporate.ford.com/news-center/press-releases-detail/pr-new-ford-fusion-earns-the-2012-36492). That gave Autoblog an opportunity to corner Mr. Hamilton for five minutes and chat about what's possibly the most hotly-anticipated mainstream sedan in a generation.
