anyone know a good deal about what to look at on these cars and able to value them? ive got a 68 im going to be looking into.

Yeah, I think it's going to have to be someone who has owned one. I watched as my brother found a lot more rust than he expected, among other things, but I don't know the cars as well as he does. In my opinion, both Troy and Dan N would be excellent resources, as they both have a lot of experience with those cars.

My brother inlaw who is a bodyman and I have done a number of 60s stangs or as we say rustangs. The main areas too watch out for are the tork boxes, floor pans and rear frame spring pearches are the most expensive to repair. Other places that be problems are under the winshild cowel and by the front spring tower inner fenders. Most other parts are fairly available. As far as values engines and options and verts and fastbacks make for higher values. I'm working on a 69 428scj Mach1 right now this is my 3rd 69 mach hopefully the last one. LOL!

Yes, Rick is correct - hard to inspect things like the cowl, but there are ways (flush water down the cowl and see where it goes). That '69 sounds like a gem!!! I'd love to see it some time!

was in a 3 wheeler accident. looks like my car is parked for the rest of the year too
