Hey guys,

It's that time of the month again. Our season opener in April was a huge sucess. With over 350 cars, the lot was full by 8:45am!

In order to keep things organised, please try to arrive as early as possible (the event starts at 8am) so that you can get a parking spot. We have gotten to the point where we have to turn people away or ask them to park in spectator parking when they arrive after 9:30 because there is no room.

This month we have something very special in store. We will be going to our first annual drag day immediately after the event. (A grouup of us is leaving right at 10:30am sharp) More info on that here:

Please keep the burnouts and hard launches for the track. We need to be respectful of the property and our host as well as the garage owners that allow us to have our event at their place.

Rice Killer is also having their club drag day the same day at Rock Falls. Should be nice and busy. :badidea:

No there is nothing for RKC speciffically that day but the organizer of the C&C event is a member on Ricekiller and usually invites us to participate. My understanding is the plan is to arrive at Rock Falls at about 1 oclock and run time trials from 1-4. Then there will be elimination rounds for the C&C group following that. I was told there would be sperate staging lanes for the group to get through the lines faster as well but who really knows for sure.

I think it will be cool to watch some high end cars make some passes. You just don't see that everyday at the rock. I know of a few going that will run in the 10's for sure anyway.
