May 4 - Spring Kick Off Cruise - CANCELED

CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER

ALL - After discussion with the directors, we have decided to cancel the kick-off cruise for this Saturday. Low temperatures and rain, plus the weather we're getting the cities in the next 24 hours have pushed us to cancel this cruise.

Instead, we will use this route in June for part of our Poker Run/Cruise. Additional details, times, etc. will be posted closer to the date. Trying to schedule a date in May is difficult because of the events already planned and holidays.

Sorry to do this but feedback we've received and the never ending winter pushed us to this decision.

I wont be making it but if you guys are looking for something to do that evening if you dont have other plans, Our Fire Department is doing a fundraiser dance at our fire hall. Its maybe a bit over a 35 min drive from Taylors falls, or for those of you that have done the Amery Auto Cross the town of Deer Park is just 10 miles south of Amery. Live band, beer, pop good times. Just throwing it out there. Hope you guys have a good cruise.

Car went for a little jaunt yesterday...

Got the new Accufab TB Installed and the idle all setup nice.
Installed the new solid rack mount bushings.
Installed and bedded a new set of EBC Yellows (I really like these).
So far so good!

Just gotta get her cleaned up a bit over the course of the week and she'll be ready for the cruise.

Since we had no winter at all last year, I guess its fair we have double winter this year. I did get the door weatherstripping in (51 F1 pickup) but still no wipers at this moment. Heater works.

Haha that's good. The weathers sorta like ones inlaws or one family member who whenever they visit over stays their welcome, can't take a hint to leave because you don't really like them but are dealing with it because their family.

Sonicx.... uh, what? :eyetwitch: I think I understand what you meant, though, lol.

We got 15-18 inches of snow by Thursday morning, and another inch or two Thursday night. I'm over winter... what a mess! The '83 vert wanted to go for a drive with the top down a week ago, and it's now plowed in again.

The trouble is, this is Minnesota. It's going to eventually go the other way, and we'll be wishing for cooler weather.
