I finally got around to detailing the engine bay. The polished Whipple is nice, but if I were to have ordered it, I would have gotten the black version. Unless you have other polished bling under the hood, there really is no need to have that polished whine box.
I also got the car on a lift and did an extreme clean/detail of the entire underside. I did not get photos of that , but I will tell you that a 6 year old California car has a PRISTINE bottom side - except for some road grime here and there. The typical S197 Axle and driveshaft surface rust is unavoidable in any climate. I still can't figure out why Ford decided to keep these parts bare steel.
