Aside from an admittedly significant refresh in 2011, the guts underpinning the midsize Ford Edge (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/edge/) crossover (shown above as a 2012 model) haven't received much attention since it was introduced in 2005. That is all about to change as Ford (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/) plans to roll out a new concept vehicle at the LA Auto Show (http://www.autoblog.com/la-auto-show/) that will preview the next-gen Edge, which we may have actually gotten our first look at back in February (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/02/13/are-you-the-next-ford-edge/).
We've heard from numerous sources this week that a concept will be unveiled in LA previewing the 2015 Edge, and like many current Ford products (like Fusion (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/fusion/), Focus (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/focus/) and Fiesta (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/fiesta/)), it will be sold in a number of global markets including Europe.
