48.5mpg - that's got hypermiling written all over it, but even if they got 31mpg in the real world, it would beat my 300hp stock GT into a quivering pulp. I think this is a good illustration of how a little pony car competition can be good for consumers.

That was very cool. I wonder how long before Chevy and the rest try to beat Ford's number....
