At 50 years old, the object of fantasies, a tuner's dream, a movie star and more than nine million strong, it couldn't be truer to say that the Ford Mustang (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/mustang/) needs no introduction. This newest Mustang, however - making the biggest changes we've seen to the pony car since perhaps 1964.5 - is something Ford (http://www.autoblog.com/ford/) has been introducing all year.
We went on a Deep Dive (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/12/05/2015-ford-mustang-official-photos-reveal-info/), covered the way it looks when it was revealed (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/12/05/2015-ford-mustang-official-revealed-video/), detailed the engine specs (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/12/05/2015-ford-mustang-engine-ecoboost-explained/), got a ride in the EcoBoost (http://www.autoblog.com/2014/05/16/2015-ford-mustang-ecoboost-first-ride-review/) and listened to the V8 (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/12/09/2015-ford-mustang-cars-coffee-irvine-video/), got rolling footage (http://www.autoblog.com/2013/12/26/2015-ford-mustang-rolling-footage-video/) and watched it do a standard-feature burnout (http://www.autoblog.com/2014/04/22/2015-ford-mustang-line-lock-burnout-video/).
The only thing left to do? Drive it. Having now done so for a few hours around Los Angeles, what we can tell you is to forget everything you know about the Mustang.
