Here's my new 2014 Fusion SE 1.6L manual trans, w/202A lux package!

I thought I'd really miss the Aviator's V8 torque, but the EcoBoost 1.6 has plenty of power! It's a really fun car to drive!

Bought from our friends at Apple Auto Group.

Actually you could say you're ahead of the times, haha. They stopped offering it for 2015 for the first time in the Fusion's history.

Alright!!! Finally I'm ahead on something new car related. Was that though a order only option? Not that I know much about ford fusions but Ive never seen one.

Yeah, it was order only for '13 and 14. There were 16 left in the country when I got mine. It had been ordered, but the buyer crapped out on the financing. I imagine the other new ones on dealer lots have similar stories.

I had an '07 Milan Premier that was pretty similarly equipped, but later in the cycle of that model Fusion/Milan, '09-12, it was only available as a stripper "S" model with the 2.5L. For '13 and '14, it was offered with the 1.6L EcoBoost, and only on the SE. But an SE can be configured many different ways, from relatively stripped with cloth seats, to more like mine with leather and all the lux features. It was pretty cool of Ford to do it that way, but I guess it just couldn't last. Especially when they decided to yank the 1.6 as the volume engine in favor of the 1.5.
