We're a few minutes away from hopping onto Ford's (http://www.autoblog.com/make/ford/) monthly sales call, but according to the Detroit News, the Blue Oval has called a press conference at 3 PM EST that could announce the demise (http://www.autoblog.com/2010/05/27/report-ford-said-to-be-shutting-doors-at-mercury/) of the Mercury (http://www.autoblog.com/make/mercury/) division.
