Hey, just heard about the site and thought I'd check it out. Currently working on sticking a 429/C6 in my 57. Not running yet, but getting close!

Oh yea! Great idea for that powerplant. I'm quickly becoming very fond of those '57s. I saw a couple this spring already that really made my heart skip a beat!

Hey, FLSTCI71 - I'm new here, too... and also from SE MN! I work for the Blue Zoo, but in a different building.

Just got back from AVF, saw HMMRDWN's blue Stang, 66gtk's great show boards and a whole bunch of cards saying to check out this web site. Figured with that many people willing to put the MNFORDS.COM name on their car, it must be the place to be!

Right now, I drive a 2005 Mustang GT to work and a 1929 International/Waterous fire truck in parades.

The fire truck gig has been part of my duties as Assistant Fire Chief for several years. Not so much as it comes with the position, but because I'm one of the few people that can get a 45hp Lycoming straight six started in town and is willing to try!

My wife and I chair an annual car show each summer, with the proceeds going to the local historical society. Besides being a Ford guy, I end up going to a lot of car shows to promote ours. It's always cool to hang out in the Ford section. My wife keeps telling me that we need a 67-68 Cougar to take to the car shows, rather than just walking around looking at what everyone else has.

She's a keeper!! I would have liked to have gone to the show today, but I was actually working on my 59. Not enough hours in the day. Oh well. Sounds like everyone had a great time. Maybe the wife and I can hit the next show and meet a few people.
