They need to define these classes more. They are including way too many models together.

That's why it makes sense to pre-register your car. Get a great parking spot with your friends, cram 2-3 people in the Ford and you're golden!

What class am I? 62 Galaxie modified. 2800 is 65-09 and 2900 is pre 1960

This is why we made a class for Fairlane, Galaxie, Falcon at our show. This one is put on by the Shelby club, maybe someone could ask them to redefine the classes?

If your car is stock, class 800.
If your car is modified, I think 2800. There may be an error with the classes for that 5 year period of cars. Heck, it may even be my fault as I designed the flyer using info given to me! We'll be sure to make note and get that fixed in the future. Looking forward to seeing the car and meeting you there!

For our Fall Show we typically will, but since we don't need to be at this show at the crack of dawn, we will typically just "straggle" in.

I'd be up for meeting before-hand though. Possibly the Denny's in Apple Valley (just west of the dealership).
Could get a decent grease-ball breakfast that way prior to baking all day in the sun. :redface:

Does anyone have any info on the swap meet? I know it is $15. This will be my first time actually selling so it will be different on the other side.
Gates open at 8am for swappers also correct?
Is it $15 per swap space?
Is there a charge for the people that swap besides the $15?

You can come earlier as swapper to set up if you like. I plan to be there around 7:00 myself to set up my vending booth. I don't think there is any other charge like a spectator fee unless it's obvious you have more people with you than you need to vend.... Best of luck selling!!

Never swapped the tires so the big ones it is. Got caught up cleaning up the edge after todays rain. I'll try and give the cobra a quick bath in the AM before heading out at 10 to 7.

numbers were low, as is common I guess on mobile dyno's.
Using the AVF Shelby GT as a benchmark they have tuned it at APS to 521rwhp, the dyno at the show put it at 450rwhp. So about 13.6% lower than it should be.

If I use the 13% formula and correct the #'s, Im at 374/475 but on his #'s I was 330/419

Also, Dan M, the Shelby Club Pres, said he has put down 455rwhp, and zall he did was did 385rwhp (15.38% Low)

Yup, same thing happens at CarCraft every year (and I keep going back for more punishment). typically 10 to 15% lower than a fixed dyno.

Planning to try out the JDM dyno in Sturgis this year, so will have yet another to compare to. Couldn't run the car on the dyno yesterday, had to swap the MAF in the car for a surging issue and it hasn't been tuned with the new MAF in place yet. Car pulls great, but I have no clue what top end looks like A/F wise. And not exactly something you measure "on the street"... although now I could. :fork:
