Hey all -
It was nice meeting a lot of you out there tonight, some very nice cars you all have!! That was a very nice show, I enjoyed it.
HELLFYR's car seems really slow with that 517hp dyno... it might be able to keep up with my V6.
:P jk

Anyways if any of you have pics of that show post them - I took lots of pictures but wont have time until later tonight or monday to get them uploaded. I took pictures of most of the cars out there, but be warned I'm no expert photographer.

P.S. did any of you end up going out to eat at El Mariachi's afterwards? If so how did you like it?

Yes, we had a group that went to El Mariachi's.
It was okay.
Not bad, not great, it was what I would call sustenance food. :)

Yup, when we did the spirited run on the cruise my size sixteen must have kicked loose the brake light switch. I figured it out at Kwik Trip :spin2: Thanks for the directions to 218 and e85. I took 218 all the way. Got home pretty quick without the rain.

Hahaha, I love the pic of the kid in the back sleeping - that cracked me up.

Very nice pictures. All that were posted turned out excellent! Tomorrow or Monday I'll go through mine and try and choose some that are good and get them uploaded.

Great pics! I had my camera out once but got to talkin so much (big surprise I know for those that know me) that I didn't take any pics at the show!

Look forward to going again to next year's show :)

It would be nice to see the show happen in Austin again - it was a very great layout and the free hotdogs and drinks were a pretty sweet perk too! :D

Yes, I love the Fairlanes. I chased down the guy with the red one on the street and convinced him to come in and register for the show. He ended up winning a trophy. :)

Where did you see that guy at? Was he from Austin? I've never seen that car around town here - I dont even remember it at the show, lol.

The guy with the red fairlane did a slow driveby on the side street behind where they dyno was. I saw him starting to park outside on the street and went over there and told him he "couldn't park there" with a car like that he had to come inside and register. :) So, he did. I don't remember his name, but man I loved the car! :)

We know a guy near here that has a 427 Fairlane, not unlike the one that was in Austin, but he won't drive it - it just stays under a tarp in his garage. What a shame.
