For those of you who know Brian Sward (TRKPONY), he races/flips school buses down at Elko. He has been in contact with the owner and arranged for us to go down to the Eve of Destruction RAW! and race our cars around the track!

On Saturday, June 12, 2010, nine members of Minnesota Ford Enthusiasts cruised to Amery, Wisconsin for the Annual Spring Amery Auto Cross and Speed Run held at the Amery Municipal Airport in Amery, Wisconsin. This annual event is put on by the Austin-Healey Club of Minnesota.

The day started out for some at the McDonald's in Hudson, Wisconsin for a quick breakfast before cruising as a group to Amery. Arriving early yielded good parking and viewing spots of the entire auto cross area and start of the speed run. We formed our own "Tent City" as members setup 4 tents, chairs and even a grill for the day's fun. Members brought burgers, brats, potato salad, chips, chocolate chip cookies and more.

The Minnesota Austin Healey Club is holding its annual spring Amery Auto Cross Event on Saturday, June 12, 2010 (rain date is Sunday, June 13). This fun event gives you the opportunity to experience a short auto cross followed by a high speed on a straightaway with a running start!

Six members of our club participated last Fall and can't wait to go back! Come join the group and have fun on the track.
